I am glad you are here!
I am so very excited to launch my new DIY and crafting blog! This is a step that I have been wanting to take for quite a while now, and finally I am taking the plunge! Those of you who follow me on my social media accounts, know how busy life has been for me this past year. I am a wife of 12 years, a mama to 3, a nursing student, and work as a patient care tech, all while trying to build my small business. I wear as many hats as I have passions.
This is what I was made for.
You might be thinking "Whoa, this lady is crazy. How does she have time for all of that?" Well, the truth is that sometimes I don't. Sometimes one of those hats tends to get shoved in the back of the closet and doesn't get an equal wear time. Even though some hats might take priority over the others from time to time, I know I am supposed to do this. I have dreamed of having a blog for years, and I finally feel like my life is exactly where it is supposed to be in this very moment. For the first time in my life I feel at peace with where I am and the direction I am going. That doesn't mean that I am finished growing, or that I don't have anymore goals to accomplish. It certainly doesn't mean that I am done dreaming, because I do that on a daily basis. What I mean is that, it is a beautiful feeling to be know that you are exactly where God intended you to be, and I need to take advantage of this feeling for as long as I can.
I've got all sorts of ideas. My ideas have ideas.
I love the quote from Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland, "Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." I always have so many ideas! It is not unusual for me to come up with multiple new ideas on the daily. It could be anything from a new career path, a business idea, home remolding dreams, and of course LOTS. OF. CRAFTING. PROJECTS. This blog will be my way of honing in my wild spirited imagination and will be a good focal point to showcase my creativity. I will have a good variety of DIY project posts like cricut projects, sublimation, sewing, Dollar Tree crafts, garage sale flips, thrift store upcycles, and even some home improvement DIY's.
I know you've got it in you! Unleash the creativity!
Many of my DIY posts will have a tutorial integrated in. I will include clear and details instructions, big clean pictures, and some will even have a video demonstration. Exercising my creativity is like a therapy for me. There is something about finishing a project, taking a step back and thinking, "wow, I made that." It is a fulfilling feeling that I hope to inspire others to experience. I hope this blog leads to many creative projects and maybe even lifts up spirits and confidence.
